I like to take pictures when I travel. This is where I share them. Jwrblog is a web log about travel, photographs, food, lifestyle, and leisure. Occasionally, editorial commentary can be found on it’s pages. When possible, I like to pass on money saving tips that I find.

A Money Saving Tip

Use and support open source software. My favorite photo editing software is the GIMP.

From www.gimp.org: GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.

All the header images on this site were created with GIMP. I also used GIMP to edit all of my photographs on this site.
