I have to thank Steve Hall at Adrants for posting this link to AdVerbatims. I got a good laugh reading it. The post reminded me of my days as a courier in Milwaukee Wisconsin some 11 years ago.
In the day, before widespread Internet use, our courier business included ad agencies and their clients, art production people and photography studios.
It was always a pleasure to be treated like a complete moron by people who would have a difficult time getting across town if it involved a bus transfer. None the less I enjoyed the travel between the agencies because the front desk usually had some eye candy and tapes and envelopes did not weigh too much.
