A New Look
The blog is sporting a new look after several weeks of tweaking the xhtml and css code. I would like to credit J M Deldin, creating a photoblog with Textpattern for providing the excellent tutorial on using Textpattern to set up a photoblog. I have adapted his underlying code to my design and it is working quite well. There were a few adjustments to be made along the way but the final product is quite satisfactory. You can view it at
In Praise of Textpattern
I cannot say enough about working with Textpattern. I find it meets my needs quite well and once the tone of the documentation is absorbed, things move along smoothly. The biggest problem, as always, is getting a design that works with the Firefox browser to work in Internet Explorer. The process is to test the design with Firefox, then try and see what I can live with by tweaking the Xhtml and css until it looks presentable in Internet Explorer.
