The Move to TextPattern

With the completion of a few html files I realized the need for a content management system. Looking around the Internet I discovered TextPattern. I think it will fit my needs quite well. I like the fact that it uses Xhtml for structure and CSS for presentation. It dovetails nicely with the concepts of micro formats and the move to establish a standard using atom. I am anxious to begin learning how to make it all work. I have looked at some very nice sites running the software. The good news is that it is open source. The current style presented is the default with no modifications.
