Looking down the pier at Gulfport Mississippi before it was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The pier was located west of Highway 49 and the Grand Casino Gulfport. This was a good spot to walk out over the gulf and take some photographs. The day we visited it no one was around. I think it may have been Sunday afternoon.
Yea, I know, this is not New Orleans, but when I re-designed the site I only had 1 picture under the Mississippi category so it got lumped in for the time being.
